Preserving life sounds like material for a science fiction blockbuster. Marcin Rusak, however, is firmly rooted in the here and now, and he is doing just that. This year, the Polish designer has devoted himself to the further development of "Tephra," a technique in which he - together with his team - applies real flowers onto a structure of steel and jute and preserves them with a fine layer of metal. Even as a child, he knew: "To experience true happiness, one must be in harmony with nature."
