Group Show | A Year Around the Sun

A Year Around The Sun, an invigorating selection of rare, unique, and limited edition designs brought together in the first gallery exhibition of the new year. Finding inspiration in the different territories of expression where functionality becomes art, the exhibition showcases works by sixteen of the gallery’s distinguished artists in a dynamic arrangement that explores the use of exquisite materials and innovation in collectible design.

"From the delicate flowers and leaves floating in the inky resin of Marcin Rusak’s Flora series, to the softly curving ceramic forms climbing François Salem’s Petals Floor Lamp, to the brilliant warmth of François Corbeau’s Bronze Bas Relief Credenza, these works restore movement and light. Bursting with vibrant expression, A Year Around The Sun heralds the fresh energy of a new season and a renaissance of cultural life."

The show also introduces energetic new ceramic console pieces by Giuseppe Ducrot, in the artist’s first showing at Twenty First Gallery after being recently added to our artist roster. Highly regarded for his spirited large scale ceramics that revitalize the neo-Baroque and classical forms of his native Italy, Ducrot’s curling lines and gestural flow signal a renewal and frivolity.
